Rodger Bingham has established near-cult-like status with some fans.
Kentuckian Rodger Bingham has, at best, a one in 11 chance of winning "Survivor: The Australian Outback's" jackpot of $1 million.
But the 53-year-old Crittenden church elder -- sometimes called Kentucky Joe by his teammates -- has already achieved something even more singular: He appears to be the most popular cast member of the most popular TV show in America.
Bingham has established near-cult-like status with some fans, several of whom have even taken to writing inspirational verse about him on a new Web site.
KentuckyJoe.com, started by the creators of Faithsite.com on Saturday, includes such amazing items as a Kentucky Joe Haiku contest. An entry posted by someone known as "Melodee," reads: (Continue for entire article)
